We hope that when students graduate they know more than just a string of facts.  The 6 C's include the life skills that students need to be able to succeed in today's world. 

The 6 C's is what the business world would call "soft skill", skills that every employee needs regardless of the type of job.In 2016, Business News Weekly published an article about employers having difficulty finding skilled employees. "To help job seekers, LinkedIn analyzed the soft skills listed on the profiles of members who changed their employer on their LinkedIn profile between June 2014 and June 2015 in order to identify the most sought-after soft skills.The research found that the soft skills most in-demand are:

1. Good communicator
2. Well organized
3. Team player
4. Always punctual
5. Critical thinker
6. Social
7. Creative thinker
8. Interpersonal communicator
9. Easily adapts
10. Friendly personality"

Good Communication is the number one most in demand soft skill.  But good communication also plays a key role in being a team player, social, interpersonal communicator and friendly personality.  The 6 C's are building student's "soft skills" for their futures.
