TPACK ~ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge
What is TPACK?
TPACK is especially valuable for middle school Language Arts teachers because it supports planning and instruction where students are developing both complex thinking and communication skills. Middle schoolers are learning to express themselves while navigating emotions, identity, and digital life. In this research study, I needed to incorporate all of the TPACK components: Technological ~ using tech tools like Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Forms, Kami for annotating, Study Sync online curriculum center Pedagogical ~ planning scaffolded instruction, incorporating student reflection, peer feedback Content ~ teaching students narrative structure, literary analysis, figurative language, and using these analysis skills to guide students in deconstructing literature exemplars Discover more in depth information in the article: What is Pedagogical Content Knowledge? by Matthew Koehler & Punya Mishra Michigan State University |
