Make art like modern artists do with the help of Art Rules! (And How to Break Them) — a boxed set of 44 cards containing quirky questions, challenging prompts, and fun games that encourage the creative impulse.
It is one of the great liberating ideas of modern art that everyone is a creative being capable of making art. But all too often a mechanical education stifles the creative impulse, induces anxiety, and represses the imagination. "Art Rules!" attempts to break through those barriers, by proposing a form of play everyone can engage in and enjoy. Art Rules! is a completely unique resource, providing the education and inspiration students need to create with complete freedom and originality. |
Google Classroom for Teachers!
Google Classroom is basically a control center for your classroom. A platform that puts together all your google apps into one for easy use. Teachers can manage classrooms, classwork, students, grade and communicate to both students and parents. Check out this great video for more information on Google Classroom
The Artist's Handbook of Materials and Techniques was originally published in 1940, and it has been an invaluable reference for artists and art students ever since. Through many updates and editions, it has remained a Bible-like source for painters, sculptors, and printmakers. This updated version has been expanded to reflect contemporary art movements, research, and technology. It has retained its original user-friendly format, however. Similar to an encyclopedia, it’s meant to be referred to often. Within its pages, artists will find information on a wide variety of mediums, including basic information and more advanced, technical material.
