Common Core State Standards

The state common core standards are designed to prepare all students for success in college, career, and life by the time they graduate from high school. They are the standards and framework by which we teach in our classroom. 

The class I teach in falls under Career Technical Education (CTE) under the Arts, Media and Entertainment sector. Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and California CTE Standards align mostly under the English Language Arts section of the CCSS.
