CCSS Writing

In this 50 second video I display the K12 span of Writing Standard 7. Research skills are a part of every grade level and every subject. By starting with this one standard, any project on any topic can unfold in your classroom. 
Research builds to a completed body of work to publish or present in some way (Writing Standards 4-6). The work must include a variety of correctly cited sources (Writing Standards 8-9), and must present an argument, information, or a narrative (Writing Standards 1-3). 
That leaves Writing Standard 10: Write routinely!
