SITE MODEL
The site model places the student in the center or middle of three overlapping circles. In other words, the site model offers students a framework for designing and implementing connected learning experiences. These experiences are closely related for students to apply knowledge and skills gained through instruction.

Who is my Audience?
My audience are my special needs students as well as special educators. I have invested almost a year of my time to learn effective teaching strategies, interventions and technology tools to better serve, every student who enters my classroom. I entered the Innovative Learning program with the mindset of stepping outside of my comfort zone, in order, to grow as a teacher, with an emphasis in technology. I felt behind the 21st century skills, how could I prepare my students if I was not confident in teaching digital literacy. After spending countless hours of exploring and implementing tech tools, blogging, and designing my own website, I am please with the end results and will start the new school year, more enthusiastic about teaching students with my personal learning progress.

The graphic map above was instrumental in helping me develop my original prototype. This prototype has many of the aspects that I have added in the final Capstone Project such as technology lessons, introduction to Google Classroom to mention a few. This tool allowed me to brainstorm without the necessity of using paper and pencil. I created this prototype with the use of Popplet.com
Logo Design Process
I had the most fun creating my logo, it gave me a chance to be creative and play in the sandbox. My first couple of logos were not exactly what I envisioned in my mind. Therefore, I resorted for help from a young artist. I drew up as best I could my logo design, and she took my idea, and ran with it. The logo on the bottom right was my original idea. The professional looking design on the left was created to represent multiple ideas in education. The balance of teaching math content, while implementing technology tools, leveling the playing field for special needs students.
