21st Century Learning and Workforce Readiness
In the Alternative setting, celebrating high school and entering the workforce is just as important as attending college! We must celebrate student achievement no matter what it looks like. In my classroom I applaud students who graduate and go to college just as much as students who graduate and attend a vocational/trade school or join the workforce. Students will take away the 4 C's and 21st Century skills in all parts of their lives, not just to be kept and used for higher education purposes.
