1. Explore Like a Pirate This is where I found an easy to use spreadsheet for keeping track of all my players (students). Mr. Matera has done ALL the hard work of creating formulas for you. You can customize EVERYTHING and so build your own personal classroom game.
2. Classcraft This is a website where you can build a gaming system for your classroom. Everything is already set up for you, and students can log onto the website to see their own progress. You can control your assignments and point values. This is also a great and simple way to start adding gaming into your class. I didn't use it as I wanted more control over my game, but I have many friends who use it and love it.
3. Class Dojo Class Dojo was originally created to help teachers with classroom management. It has morphed into much more than that, but you can create your own point categories that students can earn. You can set and create individual or whole class goals.
I have learned so much by participating with other educators around the world through Twitter Chats. Here's a list of some of my favorites. It is a wonderful way to connect to other teachers who are looking for innovative ways to increase student engagement and improve their own skills in the classroom.

Tools I Use
1. Bloxels Students plan, design, build and play video games. This can be done individually, in pairs, and in groups. It is simple, and students LOVE IT. Students were able to earn their Game Design badge with this assignment.
2. Dash and Dot Robots My students used these simple robots to conquer several challenges and earn their Robot Master badge. They are simple and can be used by even my youngest students.
