CAASPP Narrative Writing Rubric Below is a writing rubric that I created from the writing requirements on the CAASPP website. This is how students CAASPP writing would be assessed.
Student Initial CAASPP IAB ResultsBelow is a graph that shows the initial assessment I had my students do using a CAASPP IAB. These are practice tests that are available online through caaspp.org. This graph showed me that my students needed additional support learning to write a narrative that was grade level.
Students Final Narrative Writing Results*I had one student who was unable to complete the writing assignment due to being out sick several weeks.
