GeoGebra: Is a dynamic and interactive application that includes 8 levels of math and multiple resources.
Desmos: Great for graphing. It is used as an innovative calculator. Also includes digital activities for 6-12.
Engaging Tools:
Kahoot!: Great for a quick reviewing, for learning a new concept or checking for understanding. Like a game.
Padlet: Great for getting feedback or finding out what students are thinking. All students can see others' posts and comment, like or learn from others.
Quizlet: Great for studying. It consists of creating or using flashcards, games and other learning tools.
FlipGrid: Great as a video discussion platform. Very similar to padlet with resources and pre-made grids.
Instructional Tools:
Kami: A great studentannotating tool. Using pdf files, students can hightlight, draw, write, type, etc. Basically, paper is now a screen and digital.
Pear Deck: Great add-on to slides. It allows the teacher to have an interactive lesson in a slide presentation.
Presentation Tools:
Screencast-o-matic: A video and voice over recording of the computer screen or a selection. Free version includes the possibility of editing.
Adobe Spark: Great video presentation maker. Make a slide deck and voice record by slide. There are with multiple templates and pictures available to use.
Communication Tools:
Twitter: Great resource for teachers to convey information to students through hashtags. Also, collaborate with other teachers about educational topics.
Remind: Great and safe communication medium with students. Helps to remind students about deadlines, concepts or provide information not given in class.
