Support and Next Steps
What's Next?
Having completed the Innovative Learning program is a great accomplishment but it was not by any means the end. It was one more (big) step on my learning journey. In fact, knowing that education is always evolving and technology is continuously changing, makes me realize that as long as I’m teaching I need to continue to evolve as well.
Fortunately, now that I’m done with the master’s program, I can dedicate more time to update the content of my classes, improve my pedagogy, and explore some of the digital tools I did not have the opportunity to use before. I am committed to continue using TPACK as the foundation for my teaching and to share with others what I’ve learned from my Innovative journey. A more long term goal for me is to increase my presence and my roll as a second language teacher through innovative pedagogies and technologies that can truly enhance learning and promote language acquisition. ¡Gracias!
Enrolling in a master's program while working full time and having a family is not an easy task. In fact, it is something that cannot be done unless one has the support from those closest to us. They are the ones who, in one way or the other, might be affected by our busy schedules. In my case it was my family. They are the ones who encouraged me to embark on this journey. They are the ones who had to do some extra cleaning and cooking around the house while I was doing homework and typing my blogs. Their unconditional love and support made ALL the difference in my journey!
