Collaboration doesn't just happen when assigning group work. It takes planning on how the task is going to be performed. Teachers can assign roles, provide guidelines, rubrics, and use technology to assign projects. Setting up the expectations before students start the task is a must. Students need to be clear about not only the task, but how to collaborate with others in order to get the task done.

Collaboration Strategies:
There are many strategies teacher use in their classrooms to implement collaboration.
