 Next Steps
I would love to continue my research and feel strongly that we need it.  Our students are not as successful as they could be with this research completed and replicated.  Students need to understand the ELD standards and translate that into all content areas.  Oral academic language was one small piece of what students need in order to graduate high school and be college and career ready.   Next steps are to research exaclty what instructional strategies will help students learn the ELD standards to pass the ELPAC so they can be reclassified as English learners.
