Next Steps
Upon completing the Innovative Learning Program, I aim to apply my newfound knowledge and experiences to inspire my colleagues to step out of their comfort zones and adapt the curriculum to meet both the current needs and future potentials of our students. My goal is to foster an environment where teachers feel empowered to innovate and personalize their teaching strategies. Additionally, I plan to introduce fresh ideas and enthusiasm to my district by developing and implementing edtech training and coaching programs for teachers at various levels of technological proficiency.
Interestingly, as I write this, I am attending the ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) conference. The insights and inspiration I am gaining from this event are reinforcing my dedication to bringing these innovative practices back to my school and district. The presenters at ISTE have also inspired me to consider expanding my impact beyond the classroom. I am contemplating roles with edtech companies or at the county or state level, where I can help develop comprehensive edtech programs. These programs would aim to prepare students for future careers that have yet to be invented, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to thrive in an ever-evolving world. Thank You
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my husband and son for their patience and support while I completed this program alongside my full-time job. It truly felt like a blessing that our class schedule coincided with the only night my husband was not working consistently, and I am thankful for the easy commute to our office on class nights.
I would also like to extend my thanks to Dr. Redmond for creating a program that perfectly aligned with my aspirations for a master's degree. Her selection of knowledgeable and adaptable instructors was invaluable, as they were willing to adjust the curriculum to meet our evolving educational needs and technological advancements. Additionally, I am deeply grateful to my administrator, who wholeheartedly supported my idea from the very beginning and encouraged all teachers to participate. I also want to thank the teachers who dedicated their time to learn and implement new technology tools, and who were willing to integrate these innovations into their teaching. Finally, I want to express my appreciation to the students, for whom all of this was ultimately intended. Their openness to new ways of learning made this endeavor worthwhile. |
