Professional Next Steps...
My goals are to continue using digital journals as part of my SSR practice in my classroom. This will ensure that students become engaged during their independent reading. It will continue to strengthen the 21st century skills of collaboration, communication and critical thinking as they reflect on their reading and as they interact with each other's journals as well.

All this new gained knowledge and inspiration of becoming a better teacher would not have been possible without the amazing support from Napa Learns. They are truly dedicated to help teachers become true innovators in their classrooms so that students are well prepared for the high demands of the future. I would also like to thank all of the wonderful professors at Touro University. Their support and dedication to students is what kept me motivated throughout the program. The innovator seed has been planted in me and now it is up to me to make that flourish into something amzing in my teaching practices. Sharing with others what I've learned is also a goal of mine. I already have shared with some of my collegues and talked someone into pursuing a Master's Degree in the Innovative Learning Program....one teacher at a time.
