TPACK is the integration of 3 main principles: Technology (TK), Content (CK), and Pedagogy (PK). It helps teachers to consider how their knowledge of these principles intersect in their teaching to effectively engage students with technology. While students may look like they understand how to use a particular technology, often times they only have a very basic working knowledge of it and lack many skills necessary for success. TPACK encourages teachers to take their content and pedagogical knowledge and use it to teach technology skills and allows for differentiation and personalization of lessons for students based on their technology background.
