The education landscape is quickly changing with the overwhelming increase of technology in the last few years. After teaching high school art for five years I was searching for ways to make art more relevant for my students. Yes, art is fun but I believe it is a vital part of being educated and human.

Last year I decided it was time to go back to school so I could make some changes. While getting my masters I implemented lesson plans or PBL art projects heavily influenced by Discipline Based Art Education (DBAE) via technology. My art class evolved where students became more personally invested in their work and learning., and the depth of knowledge increase while students developed 21st century skills.

This website is dedicated to finding ways to design DBAE & technology into an art class that will legitimize, support & enhance the art educational experience for students.
