What is TPACK?

 The TPACK model changed the way that I viewed technology integration in my classroom. The model basically breaks down three key areas in the classroom: 
  • ​ - Pedagogy (the method of how you teach) 
  •  - Content knowledge (an understanding of the curriculum you teach) 
  •  - Technological knowledge (integrating technology successfully in a way that engages students) 
The challenge is using technology in a way that moves past just substituting it from what we have always done into a way that benefits students in their learning. Click on the two videos below to learn more about how the model helps students build their content knowledge.
