Assessment Design can be investigated in any content area.  The focus of my research was mathematics, specifically in my Integrated Math 3 courses during my trigonometry units.  Click the link to see the full document of the California Common Core State Standards in Mathematics. The standards taught during the units of my action research cycles involved Trigonometric Functions (F-TF):
  • Model periodic phenomena with trigonometric functions.
  • Extend the domain of trigonometric functions using the unit circle.
  • Prove and apply trigonometric identities.
