Common Core State Standards

A considerable amount of changes recently has been implemented to the History-Social Science Framework since its adoption in 2005.  Although educators are required to follow the HSS framework,  we teachers are granted to go beyond the HSS Common Core outline.

CA Common Core State Standards

Since the beginning of the Innovative Learning Masters program, the ISTE standards for educators been emphasized a great deal.  Understanding ISTE will help teachers create purposeful lesson plans implementing technology within the classroom. it is important for students to know ISTE because students today are digital natives. As a result, it's crucial that they understand how to use that media to its fullest potential. Students learn about digital tools that can help them communicate, along with creating original materials that visualize their ideas.
