Likert Scale Rubric for Assessment Before, during, and after research, teacher-learners were given a 19-question Likert Scale questionnaire about their technology and 7 Habits of Happy Kids integration. The assessment was anonymous and voluntary. The scale was a 1-5 rating with 1 being "Not Confident", and 5 being "Very Confident". Teacher-learners were asked to rate their students and themselves on their confidence levels.
Although the overall results of this study may not be significant, there is indication that student engagement and agency increased during the time period. I recognize that the questionnaires were based on the opinions of the teacher-learners, rather than more quantifiable data sources. Additionally, there was insufficient opportunity to collect data specifically for determining levels of student agency. Observable indicators of agency (i.e. class discussions, completing work, etc.) were reported. |
