Standards of Excellence

My school is a magnet school for Leadership, Engineering, Art, and Design. Because we belong to the Magnet Schools of America, we adhere to the Magnet Standards of Excellence. The standards are broken down into four pillars. My research fell under Pillar 2: Innovative Curriculum and Professional Development.
During my research, I demonstrated Standard 3: Theme and Curriculum Fidelity. I met with teachers to help incorporate: technology, art, and our 7 Habits of Happy Kids theme into their daily lessons. Within that same pillar I demonstrated Standard 3: Professional Development. I gave professional development during a staff PLC (Professional Learning Community) teaching my colleagues how to easily incorporate the 7 Habits, art, and technology into the lessons they are already doing. |
