TPACK

Picture
TPACK was introduced by Panya Mishra and Matthew J. Koehler. There are three types of knowledge: Content Knowledge (CK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), and Technological Knowledge (TK). This framework helps to introduce and integrate technology into the classroom on top of the curriculum. Below is an explanation of each knowledge:

Content Knowledge (CK): This is the teachers knowledge about the subject being taught. This would include concepts, theories, ideas, frameworks, and approaches towards developing the knowledge.

Pedagogical Knowledge (PK): This is the way the teacher teaches the material. This includes classroom management, lesson planning and student assessments.

Technology Knowledge (TK) This type of knowledge is all about ways to use and apply technology. It could include uses at work or everyday life.
