Design Process

The diagram above is the prototype for my Capstone Project, created in the early stages of planning.  My audience is fellow educators and administrators.  Coggle became a way for me to have a visual map of the connections that I was making in my brain.  Logo Process

​Every assignment has been a new adventure. Sometimes I felt a bit of apprehension and didn't quite know where to begin. A lot of learning was through trial and error.

I felt that the Logo was enormously trial and error for me. I started out with two puzzle pieces logos from" Logo Maker" trying to relay my idea of the Flipped classroom. I really only wanted to flip the middle piece, but I couldn't find a way to make it happen.  I wasn't having much luck in making the logo.

Eventually my Capstone question switched from having the word "flipped" back to "blended". 
Back to the drawing board with my Logo. This time I used "Logo Makr". I found this program a lot easier to create with. I designed two. The circling devices logo is my favorite. I envisioned the devices blending education for the 21st century together.

Instructional Design

The most important point to remember when exploring the 4 pillars of practice, the Individual, the Outside Connection, the Value Context, and the Aesthetic in instructional design is to find and maintain a balance.
