Differentiation, In-Class Flipping, and TPACK
TPACK is a framework for teachers to integrate content knowledge (CK), pedagogy (P), and technology (T) in the classroom. Each of these areas stands alone as essential, and they intersect
The goal is to blend all three so that teachers are educating their students in every content area using the best possible pedagogy, and maximizing the benefit of technology. |

Pedagogical/Content Knowledge (PCK)
The pedagogical content knowledge (PC) part is probably the easiest (although “easy” is relative). This is the sweet spot in which teachers knows what they are teaching and how best to teach it to their students. |
Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK)
By far, the most challenging aspect of the “wicked problem” is technological pedagogical knowledge (TP). This is the intersection of pedagogy and knowing the optimal way to employ technology so that students can learn. This is where TPACK meets the SAMR model. Visit Kathy Schrock's Guide to Everything for more information about the SAMR model. |
Technological Content Knowledge (TCK)
The technological content knowledge (TC) is harder. This is where technology enhances or supports the acquisition of content knowledge. |
