Thank you!

I would like to thank Touro University for this chance to improve myself as an educator. The professors were very helpful and offered me so much guidance along the way. They made themselves available outside of class time when I needed them. They were encouraging and always helped me to take a deep breath and realize that I COULD do this. They were well aware of the fact that many of us have families and jobs to attend to on top of our masters work and always tried to assist us in any way possible. 

I would also like to thank Napa learns for enabling me to take this journey. I would not have been able to pursue this opportunity without the financial support that they have offered me. Without their support none of this would have been possible. 

Next Steps

Next year, I will be starting a brand new journey. After spending the last 8 years in first grade I will being moving up to teach 5th grade. I can honestly say that I would never have considered this move without the things I have learned in this program. I have seen what kinds of growth my first grade students can make with technology use inside the classroom. Now I want to take what I have learned to the upper grades and see what I can do there. I intend to bring my website and the websites of the rest of my cohort to the attention of my employer and my fellow staff members. There are so many great ideas that are not getting adequate attention. I believe that many teachers would like to try a more innovative approach to their classrooms but simply don't know where to start. The learning Innovation Lab is such a fantastic resource for teachers to use.
