Learning How to Learn
Through education I have personally struggled a great deal of shame, humiliation, and the frustration of feeling inadequate in the classroom. The ability to remember that when in a classroom to learn or in company that may have an answer it is important to ask questions that you need the answers to in order to understand. I have taught myself how to properly take notes and how to use them. In college I learned how to work in a study group for mathematics. The ability to admit what is unknown helps to aid in the learning process. 

The goal of the research was to aid students in the process of learning and communicating. Through searching I found that the term I was looking for was a student who was able to assess where they are. In addition to a student figuring out how much information they know it is also needed for them to figure out how much more they need to know.

Site Model
When Looking at the SITE Model I see the different ways that students can and need to access information and mediums and to look at what are they already coming into the classroom with. My driving question is about students ability to self assess which is the heart of what the site model is. If students can figure out where they are in their learning, where they want to go, and the tools they need to get there to live in society then they don't need step by step individual instruction with curriculum decided by the government or teachers. ​
