The skills that are required of our students have been rapidly changing and our students have been left behind because the lacked these 21st century skills. Part of this movement focuses on students to master the necessary skills in the rapidly changing, digital society. Majority of these skills are associated with deeper learning, based on mastering skills such as critical thinking, complex problem solving, and collaboration. These skills are different from more traditional academic skills that are primarily content knowledge-based skills.
