TPACK
The TPACK approach is just what are students need to be successful in the 21st century. TPACK is Technology, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge all interacting with each other. I am very luck at being a new teacher because my district and my school really encourage their teachers to use technology in the classroom. Adding the technology into my classroom was not difficult for me. Technology is a wonderful tool to help engage and assist in learning. I believe to be an effective teacher you need to have a strong understanding of your content, as well as effective teaching strategies (pedagogy).
I plan to continue implementing TPACK model in my classroom because it allows me to prepare my student for their futures. When I am designing my lessons for my students I try my best to make sure all lessons have these three components that overlap into a well balanced lesson for my students. I am excited to see where technology will take us and how I can bring it into my classroom and enhance my lessons. |
