If you don't have a YouTube channel yet, set it up now.  A playlist is one of the most basic features, but as soon as you use it, you will find it an essential tool in the creation of multi-media lessons.

Classroom set-ups will vary depending on how many iPads you have, your daily schedule and how you are using the iPads.  These are mobile devices so they are meant to be used in flexible settings.

Don't be afraid of imovie.  This is an app that is easy to use even for Kindergartners.  The only difficulty for them is reading the text box instructions so set up an intermediate buddy class and go for it.  I made 1 minute movies with small groups for their position word videos as a first lesson.

This is a general information video, but I thought it might be helpful.  You can use the same technique for icon pictures only.  Make the pictures into cards to direct students to the apps you want them to use. You will see them used in the classroom set-up slides above.
