TPACK FOR VOCABULARY INSTRUCTION
This graphic found on the tpack.org website and used here with permission is an anchor for merging technology with the pedagogical and content knowledge with which teachers are already familiar.  In fact, I would say that most teachers are expert in one or more of the overlapped areas.  The challenge is to master the center of the diagram where all of the knowledge converges into a new model of practice.  When we change our practice to merge these knowledge basics, we are moving our practice towards a certain future.  It should be noted that the surrounding dotted line represents the contexts in which the instruction takes place.  TPACK in practice will take on the character of the context.
