Why isn't content enough?21st Century Learning and Workforce Readiness
Content is important but we are preparing our students for jobs that don't exist, for problems that have not occurred and for technologies that have not been invented. We are going through an education revolution and in order to prepare our students we need to instill 21st century skills.
One of Napa Valley Unified School District's (NVUSD) goals for all of their students is the following: Instill 21st century skills Students are demonstrating success on the six C's. More teachers and students are using technology as a teaching and learning tool. Our classes are more engaging and focused on real world applications.
