I started out this process knowing that I wanted to take a look into math content, implementation and achievement. The image to the right is the first brainstorm I did to think about the direction of my research. I focused on how blogging supports math achievement. After analyzing the results I shifted my focus to making blogging valuable to students as they use it to connect to each other and the community and become reflective learners.
My audience is other teachers and administration. This work can be done in a single classroom; however, it can be powerful as a system wide goal. This is for anyone that would like to bring blogging into their classroom or school in order to help students develop 21st Century Skills as they blog about their process and learning.

My Logo
When creating my logo I wanted something that symbolized the focus of my research and the learning throughout this program. Blogging is all about writing and I liked how the pencil represents writing but ironically contrasts the idea of technology. Several key things that came from my research is that I want blogging to help students be reflective an connect to each other and the community. The people in the logo are both a refection and they are reaching to connect. The though bubbles are a symbol of communication and that blogging supports their written communication skills and feedback. Finally the pencil mark indicates that this is a journey and the road is full of ups and downs. I feel that my logo is a great representation of the work I have done in the Innovative Learning Program.
