Standards and Competencies

Project Based Learning works best when students are proficient collaborators. Students need to read and write proficiently as well as be able to respectfully and productively work together. More and more these days we are requiring our students to work together to research and create projects. But not all of our students are good at working together - collaborating.
The Common Core State Standards are rigorous and prepare our students to be College and Career ready. Collaboration is a skill that our students will need to be successful throughout their lives.
