Assessing the Effectiveness of Culturally Relevant Pedagogy

The Following Survey was given at the end of each unit.
​Results are detailed below to compare each unit. 

These results clearly show that as the teacher continued to implement culturally relevant and responsive lessons, the students felt more and more connected to their teacher.

This table, showing a statistically significant growth in academic performance, combined with the qualitative data from the survey shown in Figures 1 & 2 above surrounding student connection to the classroom, shows a clear correlation between culturally relevant pedagogy, and a more connected, academically successful classroom.
