Common Core State Standards

While my class is of course conducted in Spanish and students produce in Spanish, I still follow the traditional Common Core standards for English Language Arts, but of course - in Spanish. Students work on their literacy and speaking skills in the target languages but with the same focuses for the common core state standards in ELA in reading, writing and speaking. The units from the culturally relevant curriculum I developed incorporated the following Common Core Standards:
