Oklahoma City Public Schools, thank you for allowing me to conduct my research. I see our superintendent's challenging work and the strides he and his staff are making to take Oklahoma City Public Schools into the 21st Century. To the teachers, administration, and staff of Hayes Elementary, I have enjoyed every moment. You are top-tier leaders of innovation in Oklahoma City. You have challenged me and allowed me to try innovative ways to motivate students, teachers, and staff. Our goal at Hayes has always been to elevate student learning through rigorous engagement and purposeful activities. The teachers at Hayes are knowledgeable, supportive, and always go the extra mile for their students. I plan to use every piece of information learned through the OKCPS and Hayes in my continued journey. I will always consider myself a cardinal and fortunate to have worked at such a great school with exceptional students, parents, teachers, administrators, and staff. I will forever be grateful for you guys. Thank you all for inspiring me to go further.

Touro University, who knew? I can not express my love for the Touro Graduate School of Education. So many professors changed my expectations of what great teachers were. The support given is unlike any other program I've been in. Always professional, poised, and willing to go beyond the call. They listened to my concerns, had patience with my delays, and pushed me when I had my doubts. I am excited to share the knowledge gained from participating in the Innovative Learning program. Continue to inspire and help develop innovative teachers.

As for my research, I plan to continue using the data tracking component to help support my students' academic growth by teaching them self-accountability in their learning process by identifying struggles in attendance, behavior, and intellectual development. I intend to learn that if I add an element of skill practice to align with missed skills, students will improve in those skills. So, I will add independent task boxes that correlate to the skills identified in the data so students can work on them during independent practice. Task boxes will allow students to practice and master skills lacking in previous assessments independently. Students and teachers can monitor those new skills by submitting student exit tickets for mastered skills.

To my amazing family, your love and support are immeasurable. You are the force that continuously pushes me to go further—the purpose behind my exploration of teaching. You made me want to be better in every way. The love you give me daily overflows and allows me to immerse my teaching pedagogy in that love. Nasir and Neo, you have taught me so much about being a loving, nurturing mother. Your inquisitions have led me to think beyond the clouds and challenge myself and others around me. To the most brilliant man I know, my husband, Alonzo, no one can inspire me like you. The way your mind works leaves me in ah. Thank you for those moments of encouragement, debates, and support.
I don't know if I could have made it through this process without those moments. You are my rock. To Gwendolyn Johnson, mama, I watched you persevere my whole life. You taught me what it meant to put pride in everything I do. You and Y'la lifted me when I fell. You guys consoled me when I felt hopeless and unsure of myself. You're the one that told me it did not matter how long it took me to finish. You always raise my head and remind me how proud you are. Well, mama, I did it! I love you guys to the moon and back. I love you all.
