TPACK = Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge. The place where the magic happens. To break it down, I think of it in chunks. My technological knowledge comes from all the training in our professional development, personal research, and my willingness to learn something new. Those moments are set with some objective that aims at making me more proficient in the areas I may need to gain familiarity with. The pedagogical knowledge comes over time and continuously builds knowledge through my experiences with students and new resources. Since each year of teaching is a new experience, new knowledge forms while evolving my prior understandings. Lastly, my content knowledge gets better with time. The better I understand our academic standards, the better I get at teaching the content needing to be taught. When all these components come together, the context of TPACK is revealed, then magic happens.
