Design ProcessMy journey has taken me multiple different directions throughout this program. I started wanting to learn how to better incorporate technology into a physical education and health science classrooms. I changed my driving question in order to research how student's nutrition affected their learning and weather their was a correlation with digitally tracking their nutrition and their behaviors. But then I came full circle; with the desire to implement technology and bring health and PE into the 21st century.
The audience for this project are educators and even administrators that have a desire to implement technology into their physical educations classrooms. This is for those who want to utilize different methods to motivate and reach students who might not be initially interested in physical fitness and health and giving them the opportunity to learn how to live a healthy and fit lifestyle. Original Ideas and Plans
The above video is how to incorporate tranliteracy into my capstone.
My Logo and WhyI came up with "21st Century PE", because that saying represents my original goal for this program. Which was to learn how to best implement technology throughout both my physical education class and my health classes and bring them into the 21st century.
The whistle represents a stereotypical, traditional physical education teacher, which we are moving away from when implementing 21st century learning. And the greenish color for the back ground of the logo was chosen because green represents energy, growth and harmony; which represents my project because I am trying to find harmony between technology and physical education. I thought this to be fitting since I am trying to create growth and harmony within a traditional physical education classroom. |
