The California Common Core Standards are a set quality academic standards for all subjects. These standards outline a clear understanding what a student should know and be able to do in each subject at the end of each grade.
The ISTE standards are meant to empower students and project their voices. These standards are also meant to make sure that learning is a student driven process to encourage the students agency and engagement in their own learning. The goals behind ISTE standards are to encourage students to become empowered learners, digital citizens, knowledge constructors, innovative designers, conceptual thinkers, creative thinkers and global collaborators. |
