I plan to continue my research for 3 years. My goal is to begin teaching students to use digital tools from the first day of school forward, and to track students growth over the 3 years they are in my classes. I want to see what digital platforms work best for my students and which do not. I want to see if students are able to master the platforms better with the support provided in the in-person setting.
I would first like to thank my Mom and Dad for instilling determination and drive in me. They taught me that if there was something that I wanted in this life, I had to go after it, because it was not going to come looking for me. While they left us several years ago, I hope that I have made them proud.
I'd like to that my sons, Jordan and Caedan. They gave me the reason to go back and get my degree, and they have been supportive and understanding over the past 9 years as I have completed my journey to higher education. I hope that I showed them not to be afraid to chase their dreams and that they are capable of doing ANYTHING if they set their mind to it.
Thank you to my family. Thank you for your love and support over the past 9 years.
Thanks to my fellow Cohortions from Cohort 19. I learned from you, I grew because of you and you all provided love and support through the process.
Thank you to my students who have taught me more than I have ever taught them, provided the inspiration for me to begin this educational journey and for this project and for always pushing me to be better.
Thank you to Susan Craig Ph. D., for your patience, support and guidance by helping me write a professional paper in my own words.
