CONFIDENCE AND TECHNOLOGY: COMMUNICATION IN THE CLASSROOM
Communication in the classroom is important because teachers
and students can support each other to have a successful and fun to be
environment.
Students hold back questions because they don’t want to be subject to peer-pressure, students don’t want to be judged or looked down upon. Too often, students do not have a way to ask questions without feeling embarrassed.
My motivation as a counselor started when I started to notice that the counseling office gets so many complaints on how students are not able to communicate effectively with teachers due to lack of confidence. Although, students do not say it but we are able to determine that.

Educators need to show students that asking questions is not a sign of weakness/stupidity but a sign of a hardworking student that wants to learn.
