Screencastify- use with Google Slides to make individualized learning lessons.
Google Forms- for quizzes, formative assessments, surveys, warm-ups.
Jamboard- great for SEL get to know you questions, survey style feedback or input. Some of the sweetest moments online during Covid started with "Jammies". The link is to an example from my class.
Kami- key for drawing lab observations and modeling.
Mote- for personal QUICK feedback in Google Classroom. Kids love hearing your voice and will listen more than they read your comments. Creates great data too.
Canva- digital creation heaven (stop stealing images and make your own!)
Ed Puzzle- videos plus comprehension questions. Make your own or use the already created ones.

PODCASTS, BLOGS, and WEBSITES 1. Podcast & Blog- Cult of Pedagogy- Jennifer Gonzalez has the most lovely voice and brings in brilliant teachers to solve education problems. She is clever and funny. Grab your headphones, go for a walk and get your PD and steps in all at the same time. Her website has great follow-up details. If you only have time for one podcast to follow, pick this one. 2. The Wonder of Science- Paul Anderson of BozemanScience offers the best science teaching. He is an NGSS expert and explains concepts so clearly. Great examples of phenomena. 3. James Paul Gee- Gee is retired now but still blogs and his ideas about video games and education will shift your thinking. He is recognized as the godfather of Game Based Learning and still speaks at events related to GBL.
