Reflections on My Journey
Reflection is powerful. As adult learners, we have been given the tools to discover how we can make our teaching practices better in the future. More...
Lasting Learning from the Innovative Learning program
The opportunities are boundless for me as at teacher librarian/digital literacy teacher. I am excited to apply my new knowledge and hopefully my school community will be willing to embrace the innovative ideas I have learned through the program. The Innovative Learning program has changed my vision on how to teach and has given me some excellent tools to help students become technologically savvy in a 21st Century Learning environment. This experience has given me the skills to improve my collaborative teaching practices through the connectivity we had as a cohort. The best thing that we as graduates can do, is model the best practices we have learned and to inspire others to go on the journey. It is my hope that more teachers will pursue a Master's Degree through the Innovative Learning program. I was thinking about retiring until I found Calistoga, NapaLearns, GAFE, and Touro University. My career is just beginning!
