Assessments

I assessed comprehension of academic content by having students engage with material using and not using translation devices. Reading assignments were scored for multiple cycles, and the comprehension scores were compared.
The first assessment was given without a translation device and the second assessment was given with the use of a device. This was repeated for each cycle.

Students' participation was tracked during discussions to see the difference between using a translation device vs. not using a device.
